AA is part of a larger recovery peer2peer community. Evidence shows that AA works for over 1/2 that give a go; what about the others: Refuge Recovery/Recovery Dharma, She Recovery, Women for Sobriety, Life Ring, SMART Recovery? Evidence shows that while none have better outcome rates than 12-step approaches, the same good results can be found in all mutual aid support communities.

these elements ring true in all pathways to recovery, in and out of 12-step models. and this presentation July 8th in Langley BC was part of One Big Tent, the first secular AA British Columbia Roundup.
Secular AA is AA sobriety without the God-stuff, one of the fastest growing subcultures within Alcoholics Anonymous offering 100 agnostic/atheist/freethinkers AA meetings every day + regional events and the International Conference of Secular AA (ICSAA). More @ https://aasecular.org
